Tyson Miller holds parts of a chemistry kit to his new class teaching chemistry at Heritage University in Toppenish, Wash., on Aug. 31, 2011, during the first week of school. Miller, a former graduate of Davis High School has a Ph.D. in chemistry returns to the Yakima Valley after teaching at University of Connecticut. He was enthusiastic about bringing his family back to the Valley to raise his children and help Heritage expand it's science programs.
